BAKER, B. Grant Passed away peacefully in hospital, Smiths Falls on Monday, August 18, 2008 in his 94th year. Broder "Grant" Baker was born on July 31, 1915 to his late parents Alfred Hosea and Annie Arminella (Jones). Beloved husband of the late Annabelle (Rathwell). Loving father of Doreen Ferguson of St. Catharines, Lynn of Brockville, Jim (Debbie) of Merrickville, Andrea of Edmonton, AB, Gail of Smiths Falls, Sheldon (Mary Jane) of Brockville and John (Wendy) of Merrickville. Cherished grandfather of Sean, Jason, Andrew, Kyle, Jesse, Elizabeth, Monica, Bryan, Kassandra and Matthew. Predeceased by brothers Hubert, John, Albert and James, also by sisters, Dora, Ruth, Ola, Libby, Estella and Eileen. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday, August 22, 2008 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Service in the Chapel at 2 o'clock. Interment will follow at Merrickville Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Lung Association.
