A Wm Ready appears in the 1861-62 Historical Atlas of Leeds and Grenville for S. Burgess Township at Lot 11, Con. II. The William Ready shown on this page would have been 21 in 1861, so this may be one and the same.
By the 1871 Ontario Census, William appears in the Bastard and South Burgess census. The 1881 census shows William's entire family as born in Ontario, except for William Sr., who is shown as born in Ireland. By the 1901 census, we find William and Alicia and their children in one household, and Robert and Elizabeth as a separate household.
